Yorkshire, West Riding. 4.25” tall (109mm) Manufactured by Renamel of London, centre part in resin and having the Crown and “R” on the front of the tang. c 1960’s early 1970's Being so large Yorkshire was subdivided into three historical areas, origionally known by their Norse name for riding, thrithjungar, which transalates as a third. East Riding, North Riding and West Riding. In souther counties such divisions are called Hundreds, as in the Wirral 100.
