Cheshire. Manufactured in Resin and having a Stainless backing plate, by Renamel of London from the early 60’s until 1974 when the County Boundaries of England were changed On a blue Shield three gold wheatsheaves (Garbs) which are associated with the ancient Earldom of Chester, the Capital City of Cheshire and indicating that Cheshire is a Rural County. Also shown is an upright Sword. The Crest on top of the Shield shows a Lion guarding on a Mural Crown between two Ostrich feathers.
