Cambridgshire Car Badge

Cambridgeshire. Manufactured in Resin and having a Stainless backing plate, by Renamel of London from the early 60’s until 1974 when the County Boundaries of England were changed. The Shield was first granted in 1914, showing a gold wave on a blue shield represents the river Cam. The double-tressure (inner border) is taken from the Royal arms of Scotland, the Earldom of Cambridge was held by the Scottish Crown. The Crest on top of the Shield shows Cambridge Castle.
