Derbyshire Car Badge

Derbyshire. Manufactured in Resin and having a Stainless backing plate, by Renamel of London from the early 60’s until 1974 when the County Boundaries of England were changed. Centre of the Shield shows a Tudor Rose. (A white rose in the centre of a red rose, both are showing the rose seeded and with thorns.) At the top (in Chief) there are three Stags' heads shown face-on and cut off immediately behind the ears. (caboshed ) origionated from the Cavendish arms of the Duke of Devonshire.
