Huntingdonshire. Manufactured in Resin and having a Stainless backing plate, by Renamel of London from the early 60’s until 1974 when the County Boundaries of England were changed. Shield shows a green diamond, which roughly represents the shape of the County. Three wheat sheaves (Garbs) in the upper diamond, representing the Agriculture of the County, in the lower section is a cornucopia for the Fenlands. Between these is an embattled fess standing representing the old fortified town of Huntingdon and the wavey lines for the River Ouse. Arms granted on April 9, 1937. The Crest on top of the Shield shows a red Scottish Lion holding a banner with a hunting horn, from the seal of Huntingdon.
