Hertfordshire Car Badge

Hertfordshire. Manufactured in Resin and having a Stainless backing plate, by Renamel of London from the early 60’s until 1974 when the County Boundaries of England were changed. Shield shows a Hart seated (sejant) within a field barry wavy, representing water at a Ford. I heraldic terms this is poor Heraldry. (Hart Ford) Being first recorded in 1634. The Crest on top of the Shield shows a Mural Crown.
