"Pip of Hillgrove Crescent began collecting over 30 years ago, and now has proably the largest collection of AA and RAC badges in Britain, as well as others ranging from amateurish motorcycle club badges to some very elaborate examples from all over the world". "He used to display his collection at his father's pub, the Mare and Colt, and now calls the it the Colt Autobadge Collection"
