Monmouthshire (Sir Fynwy). (Welsh) 4.25” tall (109mm) Manufactured by Renamel of London, centre part in resin and having the Crown and “R” on the front of the tang. The gold fleurs-de-lis upon blue and black are from the arms of the ancient Kingdom of Gwent. The castles are from the arms of the ancient Princes of Gwent and also refer to the many castles in the County. c 1960’s early 1970's.
