Royal Automobile Club 1909 - 1911 Full Members Badge. (Often referred to as a Life Members badge) 175 mm (8.5") tall, excluding thread. Hollow wheel and having a single set of wings which are deeper and thicker, the gap between Mercury's shoulder and the wheel has been greatly reduced. Mercury is now looking almost to the front. Same bases and finishes available as previous badge. This badge is brass and has achieved it's great patina over the last one hundred years. Manufactured by Elkington. As with the previous badge it has a Reg number 513135 which still appears on some badges a couple of decades later.
