Elliott Motor Club car badge

Elliott Motor Club 94 mm(3.75") tall. Manufactured in alloy. Affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union (ACU) South Eastern Centre 1927-31 and again in 1953-61 There was also an Elliot S.A.M.C. affiliated in the same Centre from 1933 until 1939 which would appear to be a continuation of the Club under another title, the spelling of one T could have been a recording error. An Elliott Motor Club (Lewisham) was affiliated to the Royal Automobile Club (RAC) from 1965 until 1968 but my records are far from complete. Badge looks to be from the 27-31 period. Known to be an Apprentice piece as part of their Apprentaship
