Vickers Motor Cycle & Car Club Car Badge

Vickers Motor Cycle & Car Club 120 mm (4.75") wide, rear block cast in with the badge looks to have been cut at some time and drilled and tapped. Manufactured in alloy and painted. Affiliated to the Auto Cycle Union (ACU) South Eastern Centre from 1927 to 1928. The assets of Vickers Limited and Sir W G Armstrong Whitworth & Company were merged to form Vickers Armstrong Whitworth in 1927. So the badge seems to date from between 1926 and 1927. A Vickers Armstrong Whitworth Motor Club existed from 1930 until 1937 And a Vickers Armstrong Motor Club from 1938 to 1952
