RAC Associate Badges 1954-73 Elizabethan Car Badge

RAC Associate Badges 1954-73 Elizabethan Car Badge Type 2 1960 saw the introduction of a chromed thin metal surround. The depth of the RAC lettering had almost doubled and the backing plate came to the extreme edges of the badge. Still stamped on the reverse "The Property of the R.A.C. and "Makers H B Sale Ltd B'ham" but with the number 2355. This was produced right up to 1973 when the square type took over.
