This Chapter encompasses the badges of District and Regional areas covering England, Scotland, Wales and the whole of Ireland as well as the islands that make up the UK.
Most badges are easily identifiable to an area, whilst some give no clue. Other than finding information from the paper trail they hopefully left behind.
It has been presumed that the abbreviated initials of "M C" to mean Motor Club and "M C C" to mean Motor Cycle Club, unless I have evidence to the contrary.
The abbreviation "S" throws up more problems. In early clubs it normally would mean Social, then up to the 50's Sidecar. later social completely disappeared and Scooter formed the majority.
