ACU / AMCA

Seen is a selection of Auto Cycle Union (A.C.U.) and Amateur Motor Cycle Association (A.M.C.A.) badges, both machine and lapel badges.


The A.C.U. was formed in 1903 as the Auto Cycle Club by the Automobile Club of Great Britain and Ireland (Later to become the Royal Automobile Club) to oversee the Motor Cycle section of the Club.

It had a name change to Auto Cycle Union in 1908 and is responsible for all motor cycle competition in the UK
